Guarujá is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Sao Paulo, about 87 kilometers east of the city of Sao Paulo.
It limits to the north with Santos, to the south with Bertioga and to the east with the Atlantic Ocean.
It has an area of 142 km² and is the third largest island off the coast of the state of Sao Paulo.
Guarujá is known for its beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Among the most popular are the beaches of Enseada, Pernambuco, Tombo, Asturias, Pitangueiras and Guaiúba. Each one has its own charm and distinctive features.
